What if I told you you could plan your week in less than an hour? Being organized does not mean you have to plan for hours and hours and I’m here to show you how you can do it in as little time as possible.
For starters you will want to grab a piece of paper to jot down everything. Once you go through all the steps I’ll be talking about below, feel free to populate your calendar, bullet journal or planner for the week.

How to Plan Your Week In Less Than an Hour
- Start by jotting down birthdays and events you might have that week, if you don’t have any of those just skip this step.
- Next, go through your last week’s to-do list and see if there’s anything you haven’t completed. If so, jot that down on your paper so you can complete it in the upcoming week. After that write down new to-dos you might have.
- The next step is to plan your meals. This is totally optional but it will save you a ton of time during the week, not to mention the headaches. Write down all the meals you want to have during the week as well as time to meal-prep them.
- Plan your non-negotiables. This is the time to write down your workouts, appointments and any other things that have to be done that week and can’t be postponed. These things are the core to your weekly planning, meaning you will plan your week around them.
Now it’s time to take all that information you’ve written on that paper and start populating your calendar. Everything that has a specific hour already goes in first. Then you will add the other tasks on the time-slots that weren’t populated. Don’t forget to make sure you don’t overbook yourself!
