Transitional Outfits: 12 Easy Looks

Transitional outfits are kind of hard to pull off. Transitional weather makes us hot one minute and cold the next. Nobody likes that.

We have come to that time of the year again: the time where we leave the house in the mornings and the weather is cold but as the day goes by, it starts getting hotter and hotter to the point where the warm clothes you’re wearing are making you sweat profusely.

Honestly, here in Portugal, we kinda skipped that phase this year. We went from super hot weather to pouring rain and cold in seconds.

But I’m sure in other countries people are going through transitional periods right now. If that’s your case here are 12 easy transitional outfits anyone can recreate.

The key to creating the perfect transitional look is to layer. Imagine that when you leave your house in the morning it’s 10 degrees Celsius. Cold right? Might as well put on a jacket.

Throughout the day, as the temparture rises to 17 degrees, the jacket feels too hot, so you take it off only to reveal a cool t-shirt or a nice blouse.

Then when it’s time to go back home, at 8pm it’s cold again so you throw your jacket back on. Bam – perfect transitional outfit.

It sounds simple but sometimes it’s way harder than that. That’s why I created these looks. Hopefuly you found them helpful!
