Last month, I was browsing through the Maquilallia’s website and came across a primer from The Ordinary I had seen a few fellow bloggers talk about this brand so I decided to give it a try.

I paid 4,90€ for a 30ml squeeze tube. It comes in very pretty packaging if I do say so myself. I love minimal packaging so this was just up my alley. This was actually the second primer I’ve ever bought.
The first one was a Catrice primer that didn’t do anything for my makeup, it only made it last even less than it usually does.
Alongside being a primer, The Ordinary primer is also a moisturizer, so you can use it at the end of your skincare routine.

My Experience with The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer
I use the tiniest amount of this primer (about a pea-size amount) and that is enough product to cover my entire face.
Upon application, it feels super smooth and the texture is much different than the Catrice primer I talked about above. It’s like an instant hydration boost!
After a few seconds on the skin, the product’s blurring effect is quite visible. It’s like real-life Photoshop. My foundation applies perfectly on top of it.

Let me know if you’ve ever tried this primer and what your experience with it was.
