There are two BIG colour trends this spring/summer season: lilac and mustard yellow. Today I’ll be focusing on mustard yellow, but don’t worry, a lilac post will be coming soon!
Mustard yellow is one of those colours you either love or hate: there’s no in-between. I personally love it. I think it’s a more subtle way to incorporate bright colours into your wardrobe. If you’re like me and your wardrobe consists mainly of white, black and grey pieces, this colour will go perfectly with those. I have to admit that as of right now I only have one mustard yellow piece on my wardrobe, but I’m planning on getting more (oh and I’m also planning to get some decor pieces- thanks Kate La Vie).
If you’re unsure of how to wear this trendy colour, here are some polyvore sets I’ve created to inspire you.
