Lately, I’ve been doing a few different things with my blog and it has changed my game completely: my blog pageviews have increased immensely and it feels amazing! So, I decided to share with you guys 5 easy ways to grow your blog’s pageviews.
I can’t stress this enough. You don’t know how much of a difference engaging with your readers can make on your blog. No one likes to comment on a blogpost and not have a response. When someone comments on your blogpost, please reply.
SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!
Okay, now that you’ve published your blogpost, you need to share it on your social media platforms. If you’re a small blogger, people most likely won’t go around Google searching for your blog. They will, however, click on it if you share it on social media.
If you don’t have a lot of time to promote your posts, schedule them. There are tons of apps/websites you can do that. My favorites are Buffer and Crowdfire. oh, and don’t forget to tag RT accounts on Twitter (here’s a post all about Blog RT Accounts)
Here’s an example of one of my scheduled tweets.
Also, use hashtags on Instagram to help your post to be seen by more people (here’s a post I wrote about Instagram hashtags )
Here’s an example of how I use hashtags.
Once you promote your post on social media, don’t forget to tag the brands on the picture. This will give your post the most visibility and also, there’s a possibility the brands you tag will re-post your photo on their own accounts, giving your blog a lot of new readers.
COMMENT ON OTHER BLOGS
Your blog won’t be discovered by fellow bloggers by itself. The steps above will help you, but this step will too. Go on your favorite blogs and leave a genuine comment. Not one of those comments like ” Loved it” or ”Great Post”: these types of comments show that you didn’t put the effort into reading the post and thinking about it.
ADD YOUR BLOG’S LINK ON ALL YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA
Most people discover my blog through my social media, whether that is Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media platform so it’s crucial for you to have a link to your blog on all your social media. And when I say this is crucial, I mean it. Do it!
What do you usually do to grow your blog’s pageviews?
My name is Rita Valente and I'm a 23-year-old Portuguese woman with a passion for fashion, lifestyle, and content creation. I'm currently studying foreign languages, literature, and culture in university (more specifically Spanish and English). I've always had a passion for writing and reading, especially in English so it was only natural for me to enroll in this degree. I see this blog not only as a place where I can write about things I love but also a place where I can practice my second language.
Hi! My name is Rita Valente and I'm the author of The European Closet, a blog dedicated to helping women in their 20's with a passion for trendy yet comfortable fashion, self-development, productivity, and building an online community.
