20 Things I learned in 20 years

Last night, I had a bit of a binge- read of a few of my favourite blogs and discovered this kind of posts: things I learned in my *insert age here* years. I was very interested in reading these posts and decided I should also share 20 things I learned in my 20 (almost 21) years of living.
  1. Don’t study on the day of an exam
  2. If you want to buy something wait one week before doing so
  3. Don’t let someone make fun of you because of your musical taste. You listen to whatever you want
  4. Good hair and painted nails make a huge difference in the way you look
  5. always moisturize before going to bed
  6. When you’re sad, read your favourite book or listen to your favourite album
  7. the amount of social media followers you have does not define your worth
  8. If someone is constantly bringing you down, get rid of them
  9. Momma knows best
  10. Spending a bit more money on something will end up compensating in the end
  11. Nothing is better than a good book and hot tea on a cold rainy day
  12. Tissues, hair ties and a nail file are must-haves in every girl’s bag
  13. When in doubt, wear all black
  14. Having pamper days is not selfish, it’s called self-care
  15. It’s okay to be a homebody
  16. If you want something to be well done, do it yourself
  17. With that being said, it’s okay to ask for help
  18. Always say thank you
  19. If someone smiles at you, smile back no matter how moody you are
  20. Laughing until you cry is one of the best feelings ever
What are the most important things you learned throughout your life?
